  1. I have this DVD too.

I was told by my mentor who knew Penn Jones, that Mr. Jones visited Dan Rather’s home and asked him why he said that JFK’s head moved forward (and ignored the obvious backward movement). DR’s reply was “I must’ve been mistaken”.

Dan Rather has come out in recent years to boldly tweet his opinion on current affairs (without the auspices of the MSM that he was employed by). He even was lauded for a docu-drama that he was portrayed in, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival a few short years ago, for a 60 Minutes story on the Killian Documents (re GWB getting preferential treatment in the military).

However, I’m not aware if he has officially retracted his comments or report on the Kennedy Assassination. Now that would take real courage.

  2. John Barbour directed and wrote the 1992 documentary The JFK Assassination: The Jim Garrison Tapes. This film covers the investigation of District Attorney Jim Garrison, who, after the 1963 assassination of John F. Kennedy, decided to further investigate the official report given by the Warren Commission. The documentary hypothesizes connections between the assassination and the FBI, the CIA, the Mafia, the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War, and other organizations and foreign affairs issues. The film won an award in 1993 at the San Sebastian Film Festival in Spain.
