JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald, Part 5

Arnaldo Fernandez on the History Channel’s misguided, and now disappeared, JFK series.

After mixing Oswald with the anti-Castro and CIA-backed paramilitaries of Alpha 66 in a weird pot made of “special intent to kill President Kennedy soup”, Baer keeps on blighting a big-budget TV show by ignoring the body of the evidence, writes Arnaldo Fernandez.  With an insert by Milicent Cranor on the History Channel’s version of the “jet effect”.

  1. “Jet effect” is a concoction of the Posner/Bugliosi conspiracy deniers.
Anyone who has hunted knows that prey which has been shot NEVER moves in the direction of the gunfire. It is absurd.
If you don’t believe me, look at the famous Tet video of the ARVN officer summarily executing a V.C. prisoner. There is a dramatic “jet effect,” but he falls away from the source of the fire.

    1. Ed:

      Please see the following post:

      [where John Lattimer lied]

For years, I have been collecting videos of actual shots to the head of human beings and the score is:

      – Moving in the direction of the projectile: 100%

      – Moving as proposed by the Jet Effect and the Neuromuscular Reaction: ZERO

  2. Jeff: Did you notice there is a link to “JFK Declassified: Tracking Oswald, Part 5” in the article? At the bottom of the box titled “History Channel – or Saturday Night Live?” there is a link that says “Watch the segment on YouTube”. I was able to watch the entire episode. It is from Len Osanic.
