I want to see the new opera that explores JFK’s last night alive (from Public Radio International). but I probably won’t make it to Fort Worth in time. If you’ve seen the opera, tell us about it.
“It’s really about the fates and the thread of life that each of us have, you know. And this idea of the fates: One spins the thread, one measures the length of the thread and the third fate cuts the thread. And that is your life, you know, and that symbol of the thread in a lot of ways continues through the whole piece.”
Mr. Wayne,
You do realize that we are talking about an opera, not a documentary. Guess next you’ll tell me that Carmen is an inadequate examination of labor issues in cigarette factories.

Bill Blarney, if you cried it was probably for the historical inaccuracy from what I’ve read, the dramatization is inaccurate.
I provided links on a previous thread about this subject.
