Our Hidden History has been performing a public service: creating audio book versions of key historical documents in American history. The Hardway-Lope report qualifies.
As investigators for the House Select Comittee on Assassinations in 1978, Dan Hardway and Ed Lopez gained access to CIA operational files that enabled them to write about the CIA’ surveillance of Lee Oswald in Mexico City. In their report, they offered the first informed and independent analysis of Oswald and the CIA.
In fact, their investigation was so independent, the CIA sent career officer George Joannides on an “undercover” mission to stonewall them and thwart their investigation.
Hardway told the appalling story in an exclusive account for JFK Facts.
