Voice of America: JFK’s assassination still reverberates

From a news source closely aligned with the U.S. government, there is acknowledgement of reasonable doubt.:

“Many theories have been discredited. But in a story last year marking the 50th anniversary of JFK’s death, The Associated Press reported that “thousands of pages of investigative documents remain withheld from public view” and could set light on ‘nagging mysteries of the assassination.'”

  1. Yes, but after all is said and done…..what is the situation going to look like fifty years from now? Generations pass, people change. It’s a changing world and we can look now and see that the U.S. isn’t what it was fifty years ago. It will be very different fifty years from now. The obsession with this assassination today may look like nothingness to a future generation. They will probably have their own very different pressing issues. And what could really be in those unreleased documents…..and will someone else find even more “hidden” or covered up files? I can see this going on and on until the majority just get sick and tired of it. How long will this really continue to reverberate??

  2. I think the remaining files are of great interest and are important because they contain information concerning George Joannides and his possible connection with Lee Oswald. I would be so happy to see this issue cleared up. Perhaps these files are being held for justifiable reasons and partly have nothing to do with the assassination but wouldn’t it have been civil for the CIA to make a statement to clarify this. To wait so long causes many to speculate and the imagination runs wild. Yes, the assassination definitely still reverberates.

  3. This tells me that there is hope that the JFK assassination, the cloudy issues of the assassination, can be cleared up and solved…..when more documents are released. Jeff Morley, as a reporter, is definitely being true to his profession by taking responsibility and making an effort to see that these documents be released to the public.
