U-S.-Cuba relations continue to warm

Along with growing signs that U.S. and Cuban embassies are set to open soon—a move that will boost our diplomatic influence in the region—there’ve been more than a few signs that the U.S.-Cuba relationship is moving forward and not looking back.

The two governments and the two countries don’t need to ignore their troubled past. They just need to put behind them but with transparency and candor, whether about U.S. plots to assassinate Fidel Castro or CIA-based  allegations that the Cuban government was somehow complicit in JFK’s assassination.
