  1. Frank Mankiewitz later was hired by Oliver Stone to help promote the movie JFK in 1991. So he was committed to the cause of JFK truth.

Here is a super web link that shows the note of Evelyn Lincoln’s list of 11 suspects that Lincoln literally wrote down while she was on the Air Force One ride back from Dallas on 11/22/63. I think it took her years to figure out some of those groups were coordinating, as opposed to being discrete players.

  2. Evelyn Lincoln, JFK’s secretary for 12 years, came to a similar conclusion. Here is a letter she wrote in 1994 to a teacher:

    Dear Richard,

It was a pleasure to receive your kind letter concerning your
desire to obtain my assessment of President Kennedy’s administration and assassination to pass along to your students.

I am sending along to you and article which was written by
Muriel Ressman for the “Lady’s Circle” October 1964, and was recently reprinted in a current issue of that magazine, which will give you an insight into my impression of the man.

As for the assassination is concerned, it is my belief that there
was a conspiracy because there were those that disliked him and felt the only way to get rid of him was to assassinate him. These five conspirators, in my opinion, were Lyndon B. Johnson, J. Edgar Hoover, the Mafia, the CIA and the Cubans in Florida. The House Intelligence Committee investigation, also, came to the conclusions that there was a conspiracy.

My very best wishes to you and your students.

    1. Thanks for this very interesting letter Robert. I was not aware of it.

Do you know where the original of the letter is? JFK Facts would like to authenticate it and obtain a digital scan.

      1. This letter has been reproduced in several JFK books; I think it is in one of Fetzer’s. I do not (offhand) know who got the original letter from the high school teacher “Richard” who Lincoln corresponded with.

        Maybe James Fetzer knows.

    2. This is interesting. Of course, the longer her list is, the more obvious it is that she didn’t actually know anything about any conspiracy; she just had suspicions.

BTW, I think you are the one who posted stuff about RFK blaming LBJ, Nixon and Howard Hughes. I have my RA checking out the cite, and if it checks out, it’s good material to add to the page above.

      Thanks for that.
