Maybe Senator Feinstein is correct when she asserts that “CIA is Out of Control”.
She wouldn’t be the first to say this. Presidents Truman and Kennedy said the same thing.
Yet another sad confirmation of CIA’s out-of-control paranoid approach to a “national security” threat — in a FOIA request. This ex-agent ended up going down the same rabbit hole as endless other CIA targets. To CIA it doesn’t matter whether you’re Al Qaeda, or Al Smith the guy who works in the next cubicle at Langley. Just don’t dare challenge CIA’s omniscience or they will destroy you. And here I had thought all those episodes of “Homeland” and “The Americans” portraying CIA were exaggerated …
Oswald was right – America is sliding into fascism.
This is a very interesting story but it didn’t specifically say (IIRC) that the employee contravened his employment contract.
Do FOIA requests or the right to access that legislation trump contractual employment obligations?
