The scoop from Jerome Halligan, a well-connected Huffington Post scribe:
“The Obama administration has classified the 1967 Freedom of Information Act, according to intelligence officials. The landmark piece of legislation, often referred to as FOIA, was signed by President Lyndon Johnson and guaranteed access to previously unreleased information and documents controlled by various branches of the U.S. government.”
The sourcing on this story is amazing:
Halligan reports:
“The intelligence officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity, as they are not authorized to speak publicly on the matter, admitted they were not aware of the reason for the law’s sudden classification.”
The demands of the American secrecy system are, of course, absurd.
Or are they sinister?

Oops is right.
But as ROL wrote, US power is fast approaching the beyond satire zone.
As noted in the HP article, but not until the end, the piece is satirical. With this administration, what is satire today may well be reality tomorrow.
