John Hadden Jr. was a college dropout, Shakespearean actor, and curious about his father’s life in secret intelligence. So he started asking him some questions with a tape recorder running.
The result is “Conversations with Masked Man,” going on sale today, an intimate story of family espionage that explores the legacy of secrets, familial and political.
