The Lesar-Veciana story is interesting and hard to assess. Veciana told the same story many years ago about Maurice Bishop and then clammed up after an attempt on his life. Apparently, he feels safe recounting the story again now.

There are two parties to this story, aside from the observer Veciana. The Maurice Bishop-David Phillips character and the Lee Oswald character. I believe Veciana would have recognized Phillips, having worked with him. I’m less sure about the Oswald ID. Particularly given two considerations.

First, as John Armstrong argues cogently, there were two persons who looked like and had backgrounds superficially identical to the person buried in Lee Harvey Oswald’s grave. Second, given case officer protocols, it would have been highly, highly irregular for Phillips, given his CIA position, to meet with a CIA operative. Unless the meeting was off the books. And there lies the crux.

I was wondering if there was any recent info about the book “regicide” that came out about 10 years ago. The supposed Crowley files. I have been going back to that book recently to compare it to some of the new info has come out. I know some of the info in the book seemed suspect but allot of it seems to fit with info recently. Can you comment where that story is today in the scheme of things. Thank you

Jeff, is there a chance this might become a weekly or monthly feature? I like knowing what other readers think is important.
Maybe a featured topic from the past you feel is important as a added bonus feature also.
